I'm author/ illustrator Pen Avey - welcome to my website! Here you can read some of my poetry, view a few illustrations or find out what I've been up to.
My sweet spot is surreal humour, but I do have a serious side which tends to come out through my poetry. I came runner up in the 2024 Fenland Poet Laureate Awards and my poems have appeared in recent anthologies published by Patrician Press and Linen Press.
