PROJECT HUMAN - available soon!

Advance Review Copies (ARCs) of Project Human went out over the summer and are already generating positive reviews - you can read one here and another one here.

The book will be available at online retailers from September 2nd 2025.

Pen will be appearing at Downham Market WordFest on Saturday 20th September, selling signed copies of Project Human at No. 8 The Old Bookshop in Downham Market between 10am and noon.

World Book Day 2025

On Thursday 6th March I led a poetry workshop for a group of talented year 7 students at Marshland High School in Cambridgeshire.

​​

Using a funfair setting as a starting point, the class wrote from the viewpoint of various rides. Their imaginations ignited, leading them to pen some fabulous poems, including one from the perspective of a carousel horse who longed to escape and run with wild horses.

​

I was truly impressed with the flair and innovation shown and look forward to visiting them again in the future. Thank you Marshland Literacy Lead Mr. Clark for inviting me.
