Christmas Fishes on Silver Dishes

Each year I create a Christmas card for my friends and followers - I started this tradition back in 2014 so I've been doing it for a while now (every year I think about gathering them together in one place, but never quite get round to it!).

This year I took inspiration from our two cats. Sadly we lost our old girl, Crumble, almost two years ago, but 2025 gifted us a ginger tom who is such a joy - playful and talkative.

I also joined a new writing group this year and when we met recently for our end of year get together we were tasked with writing a Christmas-themed poem - I'll share my effort ( a limerick) below.

Anyway, be kind to yourself and others this holiday season and I'll see you in 2026!

A jolly old man called Saint Nick

Runs a mail-order service so slick

Not Evri or Prime

Presents get there on time

Down your chimney they shoot, double quick!
